HERE IS A BRIEF description of the courses offered by Hjo folk high school. If you would like to know more, please contact us.

HIGH SCHOOL STUDIES
For those who want to aquire their high school equivalency degree. You can study at upper grade school levels (8th - 9th grade) as well as secondary education levels (high school) in order to qualify for university studies.

POLICE PREPARATORY STUDIES
In order to become a police officer in Sweden you need to study at the Swedish National Police Academy. To be well prepared to enter the competition with the numerous applicants to the Police Academy, you can participate in the police preparatory studies at Hjo Folk High School. We will provide you with all the basic qualifications for college studies as well as additional preparation for applying to the Police Academy.

MUSIC PROGRAM
Two year program for those who want to develop their musical talents as well as apply for college music programs. There are four courses from among you can choose; basic, piano, organ or song course.

CHURCH MUSICIAN PROGRAM
For those who want to work in the field of music within the Swedish church. This two year board certified music program, in addition to the Church of Sweden foundation course, will provide you with the credentials you need.

CHURCH OF SWEDEN FOUNDATION COURSE
For those who wish to work within the Church of Sweden, this foundation course is the first obligatory course.

"RESPONS" BIBLE STUDIES
This Internet supported home studies program looks at four aspects of Biblical teachings; The Old Testament, The New Testament, Learning and Living as well as Service.

HJO ART SCHOOL
One to three year foundation course program in painting, sculpture and printmaking. Our facilities include a croquis studio, photo lab and computer lab.
